My name is Jon Jones and I am a fully qualified shipwright, boat builder and surveyor with over 45 years experience in construction and design. I am second-generation boat builder experienced in timber, GRP (Fibreglass), steel and alloy vessels from small craft to super yachts.
I offer a wealth of knowledge for offshore cruising with one on one service. You will receive a full written report and emailed report with photos
Boat inspections is one of New Zealand’s leading marine survey companies using recognized standards in the industry along with the latest technology we offer independent reporting. We do thermal imaging, ultrasound, thickness testing, moisture testing and osmosis advise on GRP. All our surveys are HD videoed and photographed to help determine the condition of all vessels from GRP, timber, steel and alloy and an in depth report is done and emailed as well as one on one discussion.
